Lowes alongside Praia in 2011 Parkalgar Honda team
The newly crowned British Supersport champion Sam Lowes will join up with Portugal's Miguel Praia in the Parkalgar Honda team for next year's World Supersport series. The 20 year-old British rider, who dominated the 600 cc category in Britain, winning the title one race before the end, is already confident about his step-up to the world level.
"It is a dream come true for me that I will be riding for Parkalgar Honda in the 2011 World Supersport Championship. This is one of the best teams in the world and is right at the front of the races week in and out. I am under no illusions how difficult the step will be but with Parkalgar Honda I have a team that knows what to do and how to win. I can't wait to get racing with the team and fitted to the bike. Thank you to Parkalgar Honda for having the faith in me, I will do all I can to repay that with race wins and a Championship challenge."
